FAQ & POLICIES

You are visiting the registration page for the Official Youth Football Clinics of the Philadelphia Eagles.. Below are frequently asked questions.

Where are the clinics located? We host clinics in and around the greater Philadelphia market.  Clinics are hosted throughout the year in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  We do host clinics at the official indoor practice facility of the Eagles (Novacare Complex) as well as at high schools and colleges in the area.   The majority of clinics will take place in June and July but we typically will run clinics in the fall, winter, spring and summer. Please make sure to review the date and location that you register for.

Can parents or family attend the clinic and watch? Yes, we strongly encourage parents or family members to stay and watch.  There is NO additional cost for parents or family to attend and watch.  For events that take place at the Eagles Indoor Field, each registered participant is allowed to have 2 guests attend and watch.  The reason for the limit on guests to attend and watch is due to the indoor field capacity.  For events that take place outside such as high school locations there is no limit on guest attendees.

What do I get with my registration fee? Each registered guest will receive on-field instruction, a photo with a Philadelphia Eagles Player or Alumni and upon check-in at the event, each registered athlete will receive an Eagles Academy Shirt and an Eagles Player Pack.

Who are the special guests for the clinics? Each clinic features two (2) Philadelphia Eagles Players (current or former); SWOOP and two (2) Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders.

What professional players will participate? Each Eagles Football Academy will have a different Philadelphia Eagles Player or Alumni.  The participating Philadelphia Eagles Player or Alumni will take a photo with each participant and speak to the group.

Will the team mascot be there?  Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles mascot, SWOOP will be at the clinic.

Does my child need football experience to participate? No prior football experience is required to participate. The Eagles Youth Football Academy is open to everyone from novices to more experienced players.  We design the clinic to teach new players the key fundamentals and more experienced players more advanced skills.

What are the ages? The majority of clinics we offer are designed for children between the ages of 5 years old to 14 years old.  However we do run special clinics for age groups that span 5 years to 18 years of age.

How are the participants grouped?  We group participants by age.  We do accept requests for participants that want to be in the same group as friends or teammates and will make best efforts to honor.

Who are the Coaches? The Eagles Youth Football Academy clinics feature college coaches, high school coaches, current college players and a special guest coach who is a Philadelphia Eagles alumni.

Does the clinic take place if it rains? Yes.  We run the Eagles Youth Football Clinics rain or shine.

What type of field is it? Most of the fields we use are artificial turf, however with new locations being added there may be grass surfaces, we recommend you reading the notes for the location.  For artifical turf, we recommend athletic shoes or molded cleats.  For grass surfaces, we recommend molded cleats.

Is there a limit on how many family members can attend? It depends on the facility/location and the capacity limits at the facility.  The Eagles Academies are held at a wide variety of locations.  For events hosted at the Eagles Indoor Practice Facility, there is a capacity limit and thus we must limit the number of family members who attend with each registered participant.  For locations that are outdoors (typically at high school or college stadiums or practice facilities) we typically do not limit the number of guests who can attend with each participant.  If you are attending an event at the Eagles Indoor Practice Facility, each registered participant is able to have 2 family members attend and watch.  If you would like to request an exception to this limit, please contact us at Anthony@eaglesacademies.com.  We do try to accommodate all of our families as best we can.
