The Philadelphia Eagles Youth Football Academy proudly kicked off the Eagles World Champions Camp Series at two key locations around Philadelphia! The first event was hosted at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, PA. The second event took place at the new youth sports complex and training center of the Philadelphia Union in Chester, PA. These exciting events brought together young athletes eager to learn, train, and grow their football skills alongside former Eagles Players, SWOOP and the Eagles Cheerleaders.
We were honored to welcome former Eagles players AJ Feeley (quarterback, 2003–2007), Barrett Brooks (offensive tackle, 1999–2006), Jason Avant (wide receiver, 2006–2013), and Hollis Thomas (defensive tackle, 1997–2003) to the respective camps. Each camper had the special opportunity to take individual photos with SWOOP and one of the Eagles players creating unforgettable memories for all.
Both Jason Avant (June 6th) and AJ Feeley (June 1st) kicked off the respective camps with an inspiring leadership speech, motivating both campers and their families. Throughout the night, Avant and Feeley trained with players at different stations, offering our young athletes tips to help improve their technique and skills.
In addition to Avant and Feeley, Hollis Thomas (June 6th) and Barrett Brooks (June 1st) visited each station and spent time working with the Eagles Campers. To close out the respective camps both Thomas and Brooks held Q&A sessions and spoke to the families and players.
