Jason Avant Joins First Friday Night Lights, Shares the Importance of Eagles Youth Football Camps
Former Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant (2006-2013) kicked off our first Friday Night Lights event by running drills with the kids, bringing energy and expert coaching to the field. We had the chance to talk with Jason to hear why these camps are so meaningful to him.
“Football is my life,” Jason said. “It’s taught me so many different things, how to work together with your teammates, how to put yourself last and your team first. All of these things are useful for life, not just football.”
Jason encourages all young athletes to take part in these camps. “Anyone that’s coming out, make sure that you are a part of these Youth Football camps. The Eagles do a great job and everyone responsible for the camp does a great job.”

What stands out most to Jason are the values the camps teach. “I like it because of the values that they teach the kids.”
If you want your young player to develop skills on and off the field, the Eagles Youth Football Academy camps are the perfect place to start.
